Area Financial Controller (Yunnan) – 2 year contract renewable

Our client, a Singapore public-listed company in the boutique luxury spa resort & hospitality industry, is looking for an experienced finance professional to be based in China on full expatriate terms. The incumbent will report to the Area General Manager, Yunnan & Hainan and will oversee 3 resorts in the province of Yunnan, China.

Responsibilities:

Help Group achieve its strategic mission by providing industry leading control systems, management reporting systems and operations analysis
Develop, implement and maintain proper financial systems and controls
Internal financial reporting to HQ and consolidation of budgeting, forecasting and actual performance
Responsible for feasibility modeling, risk management and financial analysis
Establishment and review of and adherence to accounting policies, procedures and controls
Support Area General Manager with day to day Group issues such as capital, financial analysis across group,

Requirements:

To be based mainly in Lijiang (Yunnan) with frequent travel to 2 other resorts within Yunnan
A good Degree in Accounting from a recognized university
Minimum 3 years experience in similar role, preferably from the hospitality or related industry
Proficiency in Mandarin essential
