VP, Project Management (based in Shanghai)
Our client is one of the largest real estate companies in Asia. Due to expansion, they are looking for an experienced professional with China experience to join their senior management team.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the overall effective planning, successful implementation and completion of projects within defined budget, schedule and quality standards
- Lead a team of Project Managers and Contract Managers, working with Design and Business Development team, Vendor, Consultants and Contractors to deliver the project from conceptualization, detail design, contractual agreements to construction, authorities’ inspection, handover of completed projects and project final account
- Ensure compliance with local authorities’ requirements and standards. You are expected to be familiar with authorities’ approval procedures from design stage to construction to securing all necessary technical clearances and completion certifications
- Prepare and submit master programme, monthly progress reports, project expenditure reports and other relevant documentations
- Other responsibilities would include liaising with consultants on technical due diligence surveys of buildings and preliminary feasibility studies of projects
Requirements:
- A good degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Project Management or equivalent
- Minimum 8 years relevant experience, preferably in interior renovation and fitting out projects for Hospitality developments. Residential and building project management experience will be considered
- A team player with strong leadership, Project Management skills, result oriented, sense of responsibility and capable of multi-tasking function
- Ability to communicate effectively with external and internal customers
- Strong written and oral communications in both English and Mandarin
- Willing to travel
- Working experience in China would be an added advantage
