Group Operations & Technology - Technology Solutions (China Core Banking Project)

Role: Application Team Lead (Trade Finance)
Level: AVP/AM

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Lead the implementation of the Trade Finance module
• Gather, evaluate user requirements and propose solutions, when required
• Prepare SDLC documentations (when necessary)
• Perform (minor) development work when needed
• Prepare test plan and test scripts and execute tests
• Follow Systems Development Life Cycle closely
• Support users in User Acceptance Test
• Liaise with vendor on system’s problems and issues

Reporting to:

• Project Manager

Requirements:

• Able to travel extensively during project implementation period
• Proficient in both AS400 and open systems
• Proficient in RPG and Java
• Able to write and speak Mandarin
• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science or other related disciplines
• At least 4 to 5 years of working experience in the same capacity
• Have prior working experience on Trade Finance applications
• Commitment to meeting tight deadline is a must
• Initiative, drive, ability to work independently and in a team are essential attributes
