Trader - Hedge Fund

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the timely buying and selling of securities including but not limited to: equities, bonds, currencies, commodities, futures, options and other assets.
Follow market prices and execute trades, either by phone or electronically, on behalf of the company or the company’s clients
Work closely with Head Trader and other members of trading desk to determine and execute trade ideas
Aim is to maximize profit and/or minimize financial risk
Help gather information and conduct analysis and valuation on securities and market
Informing all relevant parties of the upcoming and executed trades
From time to time will be involved in pitching to clients and attracting new clients
Maintaining client relationships

Requirements:

Minimum Bachelor degree from reputable University
Minimum 3 years relevant working experience in an investment bank, securities house or commercial bank
Proficient in MS Windows and Bloomberg/Reuters platforms
Preferred to hold relevant Singapore MAS licenses: Dealer Representative, Futures, etc
Fluent in English. Other languages would be a plus
Excellent communication skills
Team player; entrepreneurial spirit

Compensation Guideline

Additional Compensation

If successfully brings in client to the advisory (private banking) business, then will receive quarterly income as a percentage of revenue generated from those client(s)
