(Senior) Shipping Director, Corporate Office
Our client, headquartered in Hong Kong and listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, offers a broad range of oil services including transportation, storage, distribution, including ship refueling (bunkering) and supply. It has strategic business operations in Singapore, Malaysia and China. They are looking for a (Senior) Shipping Director, Corporate Office
Responsibilities:
- Report to President of Shipping and represent the Corporate Office to attend Shipping related meetings
- Work hand- in-hand with the various departments in the Shipping Division
- Act as the platform of internal communication between Corporate Office & the Shipping Division
- Assist in setting guidelines of management processes, follow up on key initiatives, milestones of important projects & new business development etc
- Assist in formulating business strategies, workflow & processes
- Must have sales of newbuild experience
Requirements:
- Degree or MBA with at least 10 years of relevant experience in the Shipping industry
- Sound commercial knowledge, good understanding of operations, and experience in new build will be highly desirable
- Proficient in both English & Mandarin
- Strong team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and project management skills
- High energy effective team player
