VP, Head of Securities Operations
(Group Operations & Technology / Investment Operations – Securities Operations)
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Ensuring the smooth running of Securities Operations (Equities), meeting SLIs (Service Level Indicator)
- Manage a team of more than 40 staff.
- Lead / participate in process improvement projects / initiatives. This includes initiatives relating to systems.
- Ensure that Securities Operations is always operationally ready for new products/initiatives launched by the Business Unit.
- Ensure that Securities Operations comply with Banks' requirements with respect to Business Continuity Planning, Controls & Compliance, Quality and Customer Engagement.
Reporting to: Head, Group Treasury Operations / Securities Operations Requirements :
- Candidate should be someone from the stockbroking industry with at least:
- 6 - 8 years relevant experience with good domain knowledge on securities
- (equities) and its related systems.
- Dynamic with change agent capability
- Good written and oral communication skills with strong inter-personal skills
- Ability to lead a big team
- Ability to work independently, has lots of initiative and resourceful
- Ability to perform under stress
