Procurement Manager -Fuel (based in Saudi)
Main role : Our airline client in Saudi Arabia is looking urgently for an experienced Fuel Procurement Specialist to be based in Riyadh
Position reports to Procurement Director
Responsibilities:
- Manage fuel purchase operations in all regions where group of companies operate
- This includes private aviation services for individuals and corporations, charter and Hajj flights and regional budget airline
- Conduct fuel tenders with global fuel providers and regional/domestic providers
- Develop and implement strategies for cost effective fuel purchases,including financial instruments, spot buys and taxation initiatives
- Conduct market research and supplier networking for operational and strategic benefits
Requirements:
- Strong English skills and if possible Arabic(English is a must)
- Degree in Business Administration/Engineering
- Minimum 4 years experience in managing fuel procurement in international arena
- Strong operational knowledge of global fuel delivery network and aviation authorities
- Track record in deploying fuel network in developing markets
- Highly motivated with proven experience in operational 24 X 7 crisis troubleshooting environment
- Communication aptitude in engaging pilots and fuel market specialists
