Operations Manager

Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for direction and control of all back office operations activities in Malaysia
  2. Liaise with Management in the front office to ensure that business needs are met in a timely and accurate fashion
  3. Ensure that the firm’s activities adhere to the requirement of various legal and regulatory agencies, as well as the firm’s internal compliance standards
  4. Responsible for developing departmental policies and procedures
  5. Ensure that each function is structured and appropriately staffed to match the strategic direction of the bank
  6. Develop annual budget and business plans
  7. Liaise with the respective Heads of Operations in the region to ensure that regional objectives are met
  8. Co-ordinate with IT to streamline and automate current operations processes
  9. Liaise with external auditors and regulators on their review of the operation functions and to follow up with them on their recommendations
  1. Co-ordinate with all the relevant departments to create new procedures/operational manual on the new products approved
