Market Development Manager
Our client, a US MNC, is a leading global restaurant company. They are looking for a suitable finance professional to be responsible for driving market development of their franchise markets.
The primary objective is to provide guidance to the franchise brands to achieve their full market potential and be responsible for the region’s planning and projections on a monthly basis.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for site approvals, site closure approvals, site relocation approvals as per YRI guidelines.
- Reporting of region’s Open/Closures on a “real-time” basis, with monthly reporting via FITs, prepare period forecasts, and annual/quarterly planning projections.
- Ensure that the Franchisee’s are attaining their maximum market potential
- Build Franchisee capability via implementation of GFP Development tools: Market Planning, Site Selection, Retail Trade Zone Analyses, Impact Analysis, Construction budgeting, Project Management
- Build Franchisee capability via formal conferences/workshops/colleges
- Manage the Market Development data base and update a resource library with relevant materials that will enable the achievement of Market Development Excellence.
- To undertake other project work as required by the Senior Director, Development.
Reports to:
- Senior Director of Franchise Development.
Requirements:
- Master of Business preferred in Finance, Accounting, Real Estate.
- 5+ years relevant experience with at least 2 years at policy making level in a MNC, QSR industry preferred.
- 5+ years experience as a Real Estate Developer/Manager in the FMCG sector is highly preferred.
- Understanding of Real Estate research, development process and construction principles.
- Must have deal making experience and track record of working with different divisions to drive the group towards a common goal.
- Good interpersonal skill is essential as he/she is expected to advise/train and influence people from diverse cultural background.
- Asian business experience preferred.
- A well disciplined person with high integrity necessary.
- Strong verbal/written and follow skills.
