IT manager - System Implementation
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the setup, implementation and maintenance of third party vendor’s and company’s internal system applications (from front to back systems) of our newly establishing brokerage house in KL
- Set project objectives and ensure that business goals defined in the contract made between company and a third vendor are achieved within the timelines
- Serve as a liaison with Nomura group IT team, project manager and with steering committee to ensure successful accomplishment of projects
- Maintain a constructive relationship with managements level at country and Regional IT HQ
- Summarize project problems and status
- Understand impacts of country business and results.
- Manage all the changes in a unified manner.
- Manage all the changes made on program instruction, scope, advantage, cost, and timing, while minimizing the financial/cost risks.
- Ensure technology/architecture of each program are appropriately used in package products.
- Coordinate/manage dependencies among architectures of programs that are to-be-implemented and that are already defined by a third party vendor.
- Positions reports to the Head of Administration (Malaysia) with a functional reporting line to the Head of IT, Singapore
Requirements:
- Degree in Information Technology
- Experience in KL brokerage industry is a MUST requirement. Experience in foreign brokerage house in KL is preferable.
- 5-10 years experience in managerial position is preferable.
- Hands-on and familiar with front-to-back brokerage house system logistic, especially BURSA related system and infrastructure.
