IT manager - System Implementation


Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for the setup, implementation and maintenance of third party vendor’s and company’s internal system applications (from front to back systems) of our newly establishing brokerage house in KL
  2. Set project objectives and ensure that business goals defined in the contract made between company and a third vendor are achieved within the timelines
  3. Serve as a liaison with Nomura group IT team, project manager and with steering committee to ensure successful accomplishment of projects
  4. Maintain a constructive relationship with managements level at country and Regional IT HQ
  5. Summarize project problems and status
  6. Understand impacts of country business and results.
  7. Manage all the changes in a unified manner.
  8. Manage all the changes made on program instruction, scope, advantage, cost, and timing, while minimizing the financial/cost risks.
  9. Ensure technology/architecture of each program are appropriately used in package products.
  10. Coordinate/manage dependencies among architectures of programs that are to-be-implemented and that are already defined by a third party vendor.
  1. Positions reports to the Head of Administration (Malaysia) with a functional reporting line to the Head of IT, Singapore
