Assistant Vice President – Risk Management
Headquartered in Singapore and strategically positioned at the financial crossroads of Asia, our client is one of the largest financial services groups in Asia. With an extensive investor network in the Middle East, they seek well-rounded, motivated and experienced individuals to join the Singapore office.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in development, streamlining and maintaining appropriate market and operational risk methodology that commensurate with the level of operations
- Assist in providing analysis/opinions on risk taking activities in management report prepared for various governance committees
- Control, monitor and measure risk exposure of the Bank
- Monitor and help maintain situational awareness of the Bank on the changing environment and internal condition
- Provide risk-based opinion on new products, proposals and general condition
Requirements:
- Degree with 5-7 years of banking experience. Experience in treasury, risk management or audit will be an advantage
- Familiarity with Shariah’s banking concepts will be an advantage
- Must be familiar with risk-control concepts
- Strong writing, interpersonal and communication skill
- An eye for detail
