HR Director (Singapore)
The role of the HR Director is to support the business growth of the Group, both locally, and overseas. It is a new position created to elevate the importance of the HR function in the growth and development of the Group.
The HR Director is responsible for shaping the Group’s strategy for human resources development, in close partnership with the Strategic Business Units (SBUs) to achieve their business goals.
Reponsibilities
- Recruiting and staff - to recruit staff and management talent to support the business growth and expansion locally and overseas
- Performance management - lead the development and implementation of sound performance management practices
- Talent management - put in place a system to identify and develop talent within the group, and prepare them for leadership and specialist positions
- Organisational development - foster an effective, engaged, and cohesive workforce.
- Culture - foster a culture that emphasises professionalism, high performance, innovation, teamwork, and respect.
- Compensation and benefits - establish competitive compensation schemes
- HR system - as a strategic tool for HR administration and management
- Industrial Relations - foster a harmonious and positive partnership with the union
- HR team - build an effective HR team, and provide the necessary leadership and guidance
The HR Director reports to the CEO, and is a member of the Senior Management team. He / She is supported by a team of 5 managers, and 6 supporting staff. The HR Director works closely with and supports the heads of the strategic business units (SBUs)
