VP / AVP (based in Shanghai)
Our client is a private fund management entity, wholly owned by a Singaporean large MNC with strong interest in real estate. They are urgently looking for a dynamic VP/ AVP Finance to join a small dynamic team in Shanghai.
Reporting to: Managing Director of the Fund
Reponsibilities
- Consolidation of local China entities (about 10 entities throughout China )
- Ensure timely & accurate financial & fund reporting to management in Singapore HQ
- Financial reporting for both management & statutory purposes
- Ensure maintenance of appropriate internal controls
- Liaise with auditors, bankers, legal advisors, tax agents and relevant government bodies
- Cashflow & fund flow planning
- Cost controlling, budgeting & forecasting exercises annually
- Repatriation of income from China office to HQ
Requirements:
- Basic degree in Accountancy / Finance from a reputable university with CPA preferred
- Minimum of 10 years experience in finance related roles
- Experience in investment & treasury related activities desirable
- Must have China work experience and be familiar with China taxation
- Must have understanding of WOFE (wholly-owned foreign enterprises) in China
- Familiar with project financing & public-listed company knowledge advantageous
- Must know China & Singapore GAAP accounting systems
- Proficiency in English and Mandarin (written & oral) essential
- Strong people management & leadership skills needed to lead the Finance team
- Strong team player & willingness to relocate
