Financial Analyst - Financial Reporting
Reporting to
Franchise Controller
responsibilities
- To perform Financial reporting activities such as financial analysis and reporting of month end financial results
- To perform Basel II reporting and ensuring compliance with requirements i.e Pillar 1, 2 and 3 (critically)
- To prepare financial reporting for submission to regulators and management review
- To prepare monthly tax and deferred tax computation, including tax analysis
- Liaising with external auditors; tax consultants and regulators on financial and accounting matters
- Responsibilities include:-
- Overseeing the financial reporting process i.e. the month end reporting
- Review and analysis of financial results
- Supervision of members in the Controllers team
Requirements
- Qualified Accountant preferably with 6 years work experience that would include experience in any of the big 4 accounting firms and similar industry experience in banking
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications especially Excel and Power Point
- Able to work independently and motivate other team members
- A team player with good communication skills
- Able to deliver under tight deadlines
