Deputy Head, Emerging Business, Enterprise Banking Vice President
Due to expansion & market demands, our key client in the banking industry has a newly created role to support the Business Head in Emerging Business for the Enterprise Banking Division.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to support the Head in overall management of the entire Emerging Business team
- Responsible for directly supervising & coaching a small team of 5 to 6 RMs or BD people in the team
- Ability to plan, organize & provide the necessary leadership direction needed for the team
- A strategic thinker who is quick to seize opportunities to grow a portfolio of Emerging Market customers and be accountable for deepening and enhancing banking relationship
- Achieving overall revenue and assets growth targets for loans and fee-based products for the team
- Actively cross-selling the full range of the bank’s products and helping to contribute effectively to the profitability of our business
Reporting to :
- Head, Enterprise Banking
Requirements:
- A recognised university degree with at least 12 years’ relevant experience in a financial institution providing financial services to local corporate and at least 6 years in the SME market
- Strong Credit knowledge with understanding of P & L
- Sound knowledge of banking products, including treasury, cash management, and investment banking
- Dedicated, customer-oriented and highly motivated individual with strong negotiation, interpersonal and leadership skills
- Strong supervisory and people management skills as well as ability to effectively plan and work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Dynamic personality with good track record in previous employment
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
