Country Manager (Based in Shanghai)
Our client is one of the world’s leading manufacturers & exporters of high-end quality leather furniture. It is listed in Singapore and due to expansion demands in China, they are looking for a dynamic professional to fill the position of Country Manager (based in Shanghai).
Reporting to: China Chairman
Reponsibilities
- To take charge of the wholesale & retail business activities in China & be responsible for the P & L.
- Assume overall responsibility for the management & operations of the wholesale & retail business
- Develop, manage & expand the business in China to reach the company targets & objectives
- Increase & establish brand awareness & market share, and to work out strategic business/marketing plans to increase the sales volume, profitability and market share
- Drive business to achieve and surpass sales and business goals and company objectives
Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Sales/Marketing or related field
- 8 years of excellent sales, marketing or business development experience which includes 4 years of managerial experience
- Result, performance and bottom-lined oriented
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiating skills
- Experience in start-up activities an added advantage
