Compensation & Benefits Manager

Head of Compensation & Benefits
responsibilities
- Develop, implement and maintain Compensation and Benefits plans for the Bank
- Facilitate the development of Compensation and Benefits processes and plans that support the Bank’s business strategy
- Formulate strategic Compensation and Benefits policies and programs that are appropriate to each business unit while maintaining consistency with the Bank’s overall direction
- Oversee the Bank’s performance evaluation system and designing pay-for-performance reward systems
- Devise ways to ensure fair and equitable compensation rates by reviewing internal and external Compensation & Benefits market data, in order to ensure that the Bank is competitive in the market place & is able to attract & retain personnel
- Identify and implement benefits to increase the quality of life for associates
- Provide guidance and direction to HR personnel and Finance associates in the various business units regarding compensation issues, pay decisions etc
- Work closely with various business units on issues of common interest such as incentive compensation accruals, performance measurements etc.
- Provide a perspective to Senior Management on operational HR metrics pertaining to C&B
- Research on market salary and benefits
Requirements
- A good degree preferably in Finance/ HR
- Minimum 5 years DIRECT experience in Compensation and/or Benefits experience in a HR consulting firm, with some banking experience
- Meticulous, numerically versatile with high level of accuracy
- Good understanding of HR systems
- Team player with excellent analytical as well as interpersonal/consultative skills
- Detailed-oriented with ability to work independently under pressure.
- Able to thrive in an international environment, and work independently and proactively
