Compensation & Benefits Manager
Our esteemed client in the resort & hospitality industry, is looking for someone to fill the position of Compensation & Benefits Manager. The incumbent will report into the Group HR Director.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain the Group’s compensation system, with a focus on enhancing the linkage between compensation and performance
- Oversee the Group’s performance evaluation system and designing pay-for-performance reward systems
- Devise ways to ensure fair and equitable compensation rates by reviewing internal and external compensation & benefits market data, including relativities, in order to ensure the Group is competitive in the market place & is able to attract & retain personnel
- Develop, implement and maintain Compensation and Benefits plans for the Group
- Conduct job evaluation and create job description for new positions and propose salary ranges
- Formulate strategic compensation policies and programs that are appropriate to each business region while maintaining consistency with the Group’s overall direction
- Facilitate the development of compensation processes and plans that support the Group’s business strategy
- Identify and implement benefits to increase the quality of life for associates
- Provide guidance and direction to HR personnel and Finance associates in the various business units regarding compensation issues, pay decisions etc
- Work closely with Financial Controllers in the various business units on issues of common interest such as incentive compensation accruals, performance measurements etc.
- Provide consolidated international reporting and process management for Group Exco
- Ensure the legal and regulatory compliance of compensation programs in each region
- Provide a perspective to the Group Exco on operational HR metrics such as analysis of headcount and turnover
- Research on market salary and benefits surveys
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years DIRECT experience in global compensation experience in a global HR consulting firm, preferably with some hospitality experience
- A good degree preferably in Finance/ HR
- Strong background in compensation management and consulting on related issues
- Meticulous, numerically versatile with high level of accuracy
- Team player with excellent analytical as well as interpersonal/consultative skills
- Detailed-oriented with ability to work independently under pressure.
- Able to thrive in an international environment, and work independently and proactively
