Cash & Network Management Manager for International Division – Financial Institution
Responsibilities:
Manage the Nostro Acounts for the entire Bank group. This will include the following:
- Conduct research and analysis of transaction volumes at head office and overseas centers to determine business need
- Prepare request for proposal where necessary and conduct the exercise
- Prepare, evaluate and compile Nostro accounts survey for internal customers
- Conduct due diligence visits
- Obtain buy-in from relevant internal departments and overseas centers
- Evaluate and submit proposal for opening/closing of nostro accounts for head office and overseas centres
- Migrate business transactions to selected agents
- Evaluate service quality, terms and conditions of agent banks against RFP
- Monitor rebates received and business distribution by various operation units
- Update, analyse and negotiate nostro terms and conditions to be aligned with the market
- Keep track of regulatory changes in the various countries where the bank has significant payment volumes and any other changes in the major foreign clearing/payment system
- Work with external parties to source for new products for use by the Bank
- Where required, work with internal stakeholders on their non vostro related requirements such as funding, identification of remittance partners, etc
- Where required, participate in cross functional project as FI’s representative
Reporting to:
Requirements:
- Experience in network management and/or cash management activities, particularly cross border payments.
- Has knowledge of markets and clients which utilize cash and network products.
- Has clear understanding of FI relationship issues and how the product is linked to other services the client is purchasing from the bank.
- 5-7 years working experience with cash & network background.
- Good interpersonal, motivational and communication skills; strong team player.
- Good written communication skills.
- Good business sense (can detect market data that is important and can easily separate from one-off requests from clients)
- Good client presentation skill
- Good influencing/interpersonal and networking skills
