Business Planning Manager
Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning
- Identify and evaluate key business opportunities for growth within existing and new markets
- Monitor industry trends and assess medium to long term implications
- Develop middle to long term growth strategies
Business Improvement and Growth
- Drive profit improvement and growth initiatives within cross functional teams and franchise partners
- Analysis of financial and other operating data to provide key insights into business performance and trends
- Build business planning capability of franchise partners via development/rollout of tools and training and strong best practice
Annual Operating Plans and Management Reporting
Develop Annual Operating Plans, Quarterly Forecasts and monthly management reports
Requirements:
- Analytical and lateral mindset with strong financial analysis skills – attention to detail, ability to digest data and identify business trends and issues, and provide sound business recommendations.
- Broad business perspective with ability to diagnose and manage cross functional business issues.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Team player with ability to contribute positively to team dynamics and influence team dynamics and influence colleagues and franchise partners.
- Willingness to innovate and challenge status quo
- Bachelor’s degree holder in Business or Finance
- MBA and/or professional qualifications
- 5 to 7 years experience in a similar capacity in FMCG or retail environment
- Regional experience
