Business Development Manager
The Business Development Manager is primarily responsible for the development and execution of the market entry, major account strategy, and the annual sales plan for the country.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement major account strategies
- Establish new major accounts through master contracts
- Relay market intelligence to management
- Manage client relationships
- Understand the market and competitive activity in detail
- Keep abreast of industry news, progress and related technologies
- Develop and implement annual sales plan
- Develop and implement major account strategies based on current and anticipated customer requirements
- Increase sustainable market share
- Research, qualify and validate potential hotel and channel partners, and calculate the desired return on investment (ROI) per site
- Present high quality centric win-win value propositions to potential hotel partners
- Validate the hotel’s business and technology requirements leading to a viable business proposal in support of the ROI model
- Undertake complete contract renewals preparation 4 months prior to contract maturity and deliver recommendations for improving ROI
- Negotiate favorable contract terms and optimize derived revenue
- Achieve quarterly and annual contract, installation and revenue targets
- Provide new and renewal contract briefs to installation and hospitality management support teams
- Conduct/Participate in weekly performance sales reviews with the sales team (if applicable)
- Conduct monthly/quarterly reviews with the hotel partners and implement tactical solutions where relevant to meet/exceed targets
- Attain high level of market receptiveness
- Understand the regional market and competitive activity
- Forecast and report on business regularly to management
- Understand, administer and adhere to company policy and procedures
