Assistant VP, Strategy Development, Group Business Banking

Our client, a major bank in Singapore, has an interesting role to fill: AVP, Strategy Development, Group Business Banking.

Responsibilities:

Support Head, Strategy & Development, Group Business Banking in strategy formulation and development
Perform industry benchmarking, competitive assessment and data analysis, including overseas markets
Work with business units to develop, implement strategic initiatives and provide divisional support
Establish, monitor and track division’s strategic objectives against defined benchmarks
Identify, facilitate and/or implement appropriate measures to support achievement of specified outcomes/goals

Requirements:

At least 5 years experience, preferably in banking and financial services (for external hire)
Possess strategic thinking and strong analytical abilities
Good written and oral communication skills and able to interact effectively with people of various levels
Self-driven, enjoys challenges and able to work independently as well as in a team.
High level of initiative and sense of urgency and able to work within tight deadlines
Ability to speak and read Mandarin would be an added advantage
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications especially in Excel and Powerpoint
