AVP Credit Advisory

Our client, a major bank in Singapore, is inviting suitable applicants to join their team of Credit Advisory people in Debt Capital Market (Global Financial Markets). Positions are based in Singapore. They have consistently been the top runner in the Singapore bond markets for many years. With innovative structuring expertise and wide distribution capability, DCM brings comprehensive solutions to corporations seeking debt financing from the capital markets.

Responsibilities:

Undertake financial, credit and business risk analysis of corporations, financial institutions and other issuing entities with respect to the mandates.
This job involves traveling to meet up with issuer for the due diligence session and assists in structuring the deal from credit perspective.
Also assist Fixed Income Sales in new issues originated by publishing sales-oriented Credit Briefs, including direct participation in the engagement of investors for this purpose.
Provide ratings advisory services, including preparing clients for the ratings process, assisting and managing all aspects of that process, advising on structural and other issues relevant to optimising the ratings outcome.

Requirements:

Degree with 2-5 years related work experience
Experience in client management as well as credit analytical and/or credit research work
Excellent skills in MS Excel and Powerpoint
Possess initiative with the ability to work independently and manage projects timeline
Financial modeling skills will be an added advantage
Traveling of about 30% in the region
